Dungannon Swifts beat Warrenpoint Town

Dungannon ended a run of three straight league defeats by coming from a goal down to beat Warrenpoint.

The Swifts had trailed following an early goal from Alan Davidson but a 53rd-minute stunner from Ryan Mayse brought the sides level.

The winner came after Paul McElroy's cross led to confusion in the Point defence - Stephen Moan and Conor McMenamin combining to score an own goal and giving Dungannon all three points.

Cliftonville beat Carrick Rangers 3-0

  • Cliftonville 3-0 Carrick Rangers

A first-half brace from Joe Gormley steered Cliftonville to a 3-0 victory over Carrick Rangers.

The Reds forward made it ten league goals for the season after two opportunistic strikes downed Rangers.

Daniel Hughes added a late third for Barry Gray's side as they stay fifth in the table.


Crusaders win at Ards

Crusaders were 4-2 winners at Ards.

Two goals from Gavin Whyte and Paul Heatley's chip put Stephen Baxter's side in control.

Three goals in injury time added some gloss to the scoreline. Ards scored either side of David Cushley's goal.

Linfield get back to winning ways

Linfield got back to winning ways with a 5-0 win at Ballinamallard United.

The Blues had lost five of their last seven in all competitions but doubles from Mark Haughey and Andy Waterworth along with goals from Kirk Millar and Jordan Stewart made it a successful afternoon in Fermanagh for David Healy's side.

Linfield's Josh Robinson was given a straight red card in the aftermath of Waterworth's first goal.
