A Northern Ireland business is celebrating after scooping the title of Best Food Company in the UK.
Co Down-based Mash Direct came out top against some of the biggest brand names to win the presitgious award at the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards in London.
They also won in the Chilled and Fresh Produce Manufacturing category.
Director Jack Hamilton said beating the likes of Coca-Cola, Weetabix and Kelloggs to take the prizes back to the farm in Comber is “unbelievable.”
He added: “Having only started out 12 years ago as a small farm diversification supplying to local stores in Killyleagh and Killinchy, we are astonished to have won Company of the Year.
“It means so much more to win this top prize during the Northern Ireland Year of Food and Drink to highlight the ground-breaking innovation that makes the food from these parts so special”.
