Ballymena United won 3-2 over Dungannon Swifts in what was a hugely entertaining game at the Ballymena Showgrounds.

Kris Lowe opened the scoring for the visitors with a fine finish off the underside of the bar in the 16th minute.

But Kyle Owens headed home six minutes into the second half to restore parity.

The Sky Blues went in front from the penalty spot, with Tony Kane netting his 12th spot-kick of the season after 57 minutes.

However, Dungannon struck back again through Andy Mitchell nine minutes later to set up a grandstand finish.

Ballymena had the final say 11minutes from time when he headed home from close range to secure his side's first league win in three games.
