Tyrone boss Mickey Harte has told UTV his side are delighted to have maintained their run of McKenna Cup wins.
The side took victory for the sixth time when they faced Derry in the final on Saturday.
Harte said there was a “great determination” to keep hold of the coveted trophy.
“That’s what we set out to do – to win this cup as often as possible,” he said.
“The McKenna Cup has a special place in the hearts of Tyrone people, going back to 2004 when Cormac (McAnallen) lifted it.
“It will always be special for us and we’ll always fight hard to try to retain it.”
