A Co Armagh firm has become one of the latest to be hit by last week's global cyber attack.
DA Architects is one of hundreds of thousands of organisations around the world to be infected by the virus, with warnings its impact could spread further.
Avril Wilson from the company said: “I noticed that the desktop looked strange and when I tried to get access to any of my documents there was a ransom asking me to pay money to get access to them.”
“It’ll slow business down greatly at a time when we can’t afford to slow it down because we’re really just recovering after the recession.”
Police are warning people not to open suspicious-looking emails, amid fears of another cyber attack.
It comes after NHS computer networks in England and Scotland were hit by a large scale ransomware assault on Friday.
