Police have named the man who is believed to have been murdered in a flat in east Belfast.

He was 53-year-old Mark Ponisi.

His body was found at a property in the London Road area off Ravenhill Avenue on Saturday morning. He had a number of injuries to his head and face.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.

Police are continuing to question a 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of murder.
