Events to mark Wales Coast Path's first anniversary

Events are taking place this weekend to mark the first anniversary of the opening of the Wales Coast Path.

At 870 miles long the path is the only one of its kind in the world, winding its way through miles of coastline from the Welsh border in North Wales to Chepstow in the south.

Over the last 12 months the path is said to have attracted hundreds of thousands of extra visitors from all over the world, who have pumped millions of pounds into the Welsh economy.
