Two months after world leaders converged upon Newport for the NATO Summit, the UK Investment Summit gets underway at the Celtic Manor tomorrow.

It is being hailed as a chance to sell Wales to international business leaders, with the aim of encouraging global investment and jobs here.

What we want to see result from this two-day event are real deals, real jobs coming to Wales - higher value jobs that give better salaries. We want people to come here from around the world, and be taken by surprise, by just how much innovation and new technology and exciting things are happening inside the Welsh economy.

– Stephen Crabb, Welsh Secretary
