Today marks 75 years since the Swansea Blitz when the city was bombed by the Luftwaffe of Nazi Germany during the Second World War.
February 1941 saw three solid nights of bombing, in which 227 people were killed and thousands of homes and businesses damaged.
There was a terrific crash, a bang and vibration and we could hear all of this debris falling on to the shelter. The sky was lit up and we could see the search lights going and explosions everywhere. I was absolutely terrified and it's been with me all my life.
