Police investigate racist attack on Bangor student

Police in North Wales are investigating after a student suffered a racially-motivated attack in Bangor.

The 21-year-old from Bangladesh was walking along Caernarfon Road near Our Lady school when he was assaulted and racially abused.

Police would like to speak to a man described as in his 20s, 5ft 8in tall, of skinny build with a round face and ginger hair. He was wearing a light grey zipped hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms, and spoke in Welsh with a local accent.

Following the attack, he continued to walk into Bangor.
