Celebrations start today to mark the 120th anniversary of the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
The historic line carries more than 130,000 passengers every year, steaming its way for 4.7 miles from Llanberis to Snowdon's summit.
First opened in 1896, the railway was built by 150 men over the course of fourteen months.
Though the line was temporarily closed during during World War I and World War II, the railway has run uninterrupted ever since and has even been used to help mountain rescue teams.
Celebrations will take place throughout this weekend at the station in Llanberis.
