No post! Royal Mail stops delivering to 'dangerous' street
The Royal Mail has stopped delivering post to a street in Wales because walking on a grass verge has been deemed "too dangerous" for its posties.
It means residents are being forced to to walk up and down a steep hill to collect their mail from a local Post Office.
The delivery ban was put in place after one postman complained that a grass verge leading to the terraced homes on Severn View, Pentwyn, Pontypool was against health and safety rules.
One resident said: "We still get all of our junk mail through the letterbox but anything important like the deeds to my house, are sitting in the post office, it's unbelievable.
"I've written to my local MP as it's just gone on long enough."
