80-year-old man charged with several sex offences
Police have charged an 80-year-old man from the Cyncoed area of Cardiff with sex offences on underage girls.
The man has been named as Mohammed Haji Saddique and has been charged with eight offences of ‘assault on a girl under 13 by touching’ and seven offences of ‘indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years’.
The offences, involving four victims, are alleged to have happened between 1996 and 2006 and took place within the Madina Mosque in Cardiff.
Mr Saddique taught at the Mosque from 1976 until 2006.
