David Jones MP has been awarded the title of Welsh Politician of the Year.
The MP for Clwyd West was presented with his award by ITV News At Ten presenter Tom Bradby at a gala dinner held in Cardiff earlier this evening.
The awards, sponsored by ITV Cymru Wales and leading marketing agency Four Cymru, are now in their 12th year.
The awards were hosted by ITV Cymru Wales' political editor Adrian Masters and presenter Catrin Haf Jones.
A new award, People's Campaigner of the Year, for achievements outside politics went to Anna Louise-Bates founder of the Believe charity for organ donation.
With Mrs Bates away, her trophy was accepted on her behalf by her sister Bridget Dinnick.
The full list of winners include:
Welsh Politician of the Year: Rt Hon David Jones MP For his leadership in Wales of the official Leave Campaign and his subsequent recall to government as the Minister of State at the Brexit department.
MP of the Year: Paul Flynn MP For taking on two shadow cabinet roles. Doing the jobs with wit and enthusiasm and delivering a powerful warning to the Labour Conference.
AM of the Year: Leanne Wood AM For her personal achievement in winning the Rhondda and for reaching a deal with the Welsh Government to secure its budget.
MP to Watch: Jo Stevens MP For her judgement in neither abandoning the front bench nor disguising her belief that Labour needed a new leader. She's also been recognised for her achievement in becoming Shadow Welsh Secretary after little more than a year as an MP.
AM to Watch: Hannah Blythyn AM For being one of an exceptional crop of new AMs who've made their mark early in the new Assembly. Her election as chair of the Labour group put her ahead of the rest.
People's Campaigner Award: Anna-Louise Bates For founding the "Believe" organ donation charity after the tragic death of her husband and young son last December. Mrs Bates was also recognised for her work as the ITV Wales' fundraiser finalist at the recent Pride of Britain awards.
An hour-long programme, Welsh Politician of the Year 2016, will be broadcast on ITV Wales on Tuesday the 13th December at 10.40pm.
