Police have launched a murder investigation after a man died in hospital following a serious assault in Adamsdown, Cardiff on Thursday July 13th.

The 37-year-old assault victim was taken to the University Hospital of Wales with serious injuries after an assault that took place on Theodora Street.

Another man was arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being held on police bail.

The death is being treated as murder and a full investigation into what happened is underway.
