A man has been told he faces jail if he invites any guests round to his flat.

50 year-old Paul Rice of Merlin Street, Carmarthen could face up to six months in jail if he breaches a court order for anti-social behaviour.

The order, which lasts 90 days, stops him inviting any guests into his flat. It follows repeated partying and noise complaints at the property.

The ban was handed to him by Llanelli Magistrates Court and brought by Carmarthenshire County Council’s housing enforcement team.

Mr Rice is now only permitted to allow emergency services and council workers into his home.

Executive board member for housing at the council, Cllr Linda Evans said:

The authority urges anyone experiencing or suffering anti social behaviour to report it.
