Olympians open village hub in Talybont

Olympic cyclist Becky James and gold Paralympic table tennis player Rob Davies have unveiled a newly refurbished community hub in Talybont.

The hub centred around Henderson Hall at Talybont on Usk has a new community playground and improved visitor facilities. Improvements have been made to the kitchen and bathroom and paths around the site in plans to make it a key biking hub in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The £250,000 project has been funded by the Big Lottery and has been backed by the Community Council.

The new hub will be run by volunteers and will have a focus on sustainability.
