Family pay tribute to grandad killed in car crash

Tributes have been paid to a 55-year-old man who died after the van he was driving crashed into a building yesterday afternoon (28 September).

Andrew Price, known to his family as 'The Boy' died in hospital hours after the collision.

South Wales Police are appealing for information after his van collided with a shop front and another car on Dan-y-Graig Road, Neath, at 12.15 pm

His family said:

We are all numb and shattered at losing our beloved 'Boy'.

Family statement

His partner of 30 years, Teresa Sillitoe, said:

Andrew was my life. We did everything together. He would do anything for anyone and was immensely proud of his family and doted on his six grandchildren.

Mr Price was born in Llanelli but has lived for most of his life in the Swansea and Neath areas. He was a retired landscape gardener and was a keen coarse fisherman.
