Wales Weather: Spring sunshine and snow!

Today: A locally frosty start, but mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells and a few coastal showers. Showers developing more widely for the afternoon with the odd heavier shower giving a wintry mix over the mountains. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight: Scattered showers will continue mainly in the southwest. Then rain and hill snow will move into much of Wales later this evening and overnight. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Thursday: Early rain and hill snow will clear through the morning. Sunny spells and scattered showers will follow with some showers giving a wintry mix over the mountains. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Friday, dry with sunny spells after a locally frosty start. Rain arriving in the far southwest later. Windy on Saturday with rain clearing northeastwards. Sunshine and showers on Sunday. Milder.


Be Aware!

Be aware! The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for parts of Wales for snow tonight. North and Mid Wales are the affected areas, with snow settling over the highest ground, turning slushy at lower levels. The warning expires at 11am Thursday.
