House of Fraser will close two stores in Wales as part of a rescue plan to shut 31 of its 59 stores across the UK and Ireland.
The company will shut its stores in Cardiff and Cwmbran as part of plans to restructure the business to secure a "viable future".
House of Fraser said it has already informed those whose jobs are impacted by its plans.
They are closing stores as part of a proposed Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA), which will require approval from creditors who will make their decision on June 22.
