Two men have been arrested after what police are calling "one of the biggest seizures of class A drugs" in the Bridgend area.

Officers seized around 10 kilos of class A drugs, cash, five vehicles and drug paraphernalia after search warrants were executed at four addresses in the North Cornelly area of Bridgend on Thursday the 21st of June.

Local officers, the Territorial Support Team along with the dogs section worked together to search four properties in the area yesterday.

As a result of our actions, two people have been arrested, and our enquiries are continuing which will include testing the substances which have been seized.

We believe this to be one of the biggest seizures of class A drugs in this area in recent times.

The neighbourhood policing teams are out and about talking to our communities daily so if you have suspicions regarding criminal behaviour, please report it to us so we can investigate. Policing is all about working with the communities and with your help we can continue to tackle drug dealers who target the most vulnerable people and cause misery for our towns.
