Mark Drakeford reveals his new Welsh Government

Mark Drakeford has revealed his new Welsh Government with a gender balanced cabinet.

Huw Irranca-Davies and Alun Davies have left government but Lee Waters, Jane Hutt and Julie Morgan have joined.

Lee Waters has been appointed Deputy Minister for the Economy and Transport.

He has been a vocal critic of the idea of a M4 relief road around Newport but he told ITV Wales he agreed with the new First Minister that it would not be appropriate for him to be involved in any final decision.

Elsewhere there are promotions for Eluned Morgan who effectively becomes Wales' Foreign Secretary. Julie James is named Minister for Housing and Local Government. Rebecca Evans becomes Finance Minister and Jeremy Miles is given responsibility for Brexit.

There are no changes to main jobs in health, education and economy but Ken Skates is has been given an responsibility as Minister for North Wales.
