Welsh pair through to semi-finals in World Taekwondo Grand Slam

Both Jade Jones and Lauren Williams have made it through to the semi-finals of the World Taekwondo Grand Slam in China.

The Welsh pair won their respective quarter finals and will now both compete for a place in the finals of their weight categories.

In the -57kg competition, Jade Jones from Bodelwyddan faces China's Lijun Zhou. Jones beat Croatia's Marija Stetic and Zongshi Luo of China to reach the semi-final.

Lauren Williams takes on Turkey's Nur Tatar Askari in the -67kg class. The 19-year-old from Caerphilly beat the USA's Paige McPherson in the previous round.
