A woman has died 12 weeks after being hit by a car on Bute Street in Treorchy.
The 74-year-old was hit by a silver Vauxhall Corsa just after 10:30am on Monday 24 September.
Initially it appeared the woman had sustained no injuries but it was later discovered she had fractured her spine. The 74-year-old died on 7 December at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, 12 weeks after the collision.
South Wales Police have made no arrests but are appealing for witnesses. Officers would like speak to a pedestrian believed to have told the Corsa driver that the accident had happened.
