Wales Weather: Wet and windy this week!

Today: Patches of fog and frost will clear to leave a dry morning on Monday with sunny spells. However, cloud will increase from the west this afternoon with patchy rain developing, chiefly across western parts of the country. Turning windy too. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight: Monday night will be cloudy and windy with patchy rain, chiefly in the west. Rain turning heavier and more persistent later. Gales, perhaps severe in the west, although staying mild. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Tuesday: Wet weather will move east across the country on Tuesday, accompanied by gales initially. However, brighter, more showery conditions are likely in the west later and winds will gradually ease. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Sunny spells on Wednesday and Thursday, although showers, especially in west. Blustery winds at times too. Changeable on Friday with some sunshine, although perhaps rain at first, and again later.
