Two members of staff have been employed to help control traffic at the site of Banksy's latest artwork in Port Talbot.

'Seasons Greetings' was discovered on a garage wall in the Taibach area on 17 December. Since the anonymous graffiti artist confirmed the work was his, visitors have been travelling from far and wide to view the piece.

The Banksy appeared on a wall in Port Talbot on Tuesday night.
The appearance of the artwork has caused traffic congestion in the area.

Neath Port Talbot Council said the traffic control staff would be a temporary measure in place over the Christmas and New Year period.

We believe, due to world wide publicity, this area of Port Talbot is going to attract a large number of visitors. We understand the excitement but we want to remind visitors this is a residential area and would ask that people coming to photograph or view the Banksy to do their best not disturb those living nearby. We would also ask that motorists do not park in the narrow lane where the artwork is located but find a safe and appropriate place to park elsewhere and then walk.

The Council is also appealing to people who go to view the artwork not to disturb residents living nearby.
