Man in hospital with 'life threatening injuries' after crash in South Cornelly

A man is in hospital with "life threatening injuries" following a crash on the A4229 South Cornelly by-pass.

Two cars were involved in the incident which occurred at 6:30pm on Friday 15 February. The road was closed for six hours as police investigated.

The 30-year-old driver of a grey Peugeot 208 was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. A blue coloured BMW 330D was also involved, the driver and passenger of which suffered minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses and are asking anybody who may have information to call 101.
