Rescuers say it could take "a few days" to retrieve more than 40 sheep stuck on sea cliffs at Mathry, Pembrokeshire.
Rope and and boat rescue teams have been working to remove the sheep safely from the cliffs since yesterday. The fire service are also in attendance.
It's thought the sheep were scared over the cliff by a dog but were unable to get themselves back up.
RSPCA Cymru are describing it as a complex and difficult rescue because of the large number of animals involved.
