Three men arrested after a group of migrants were found on a beach in Kent have been released under investigation.
Eight men were found at Samphire Hoe, near Dover, at around eight o'clock on Thursday morning, the National Crime Agency (NCA) said.
The group, who said they were Iranian, were handed over to immigration officials, the Home Office said.
Two boats were found nearby and are being examined by NCA officers.
The three men, two aged 40, one aged 39 and all from South Wales, were questioned on suspicion of facilitating illegal immigration.
