A teenager from Cardiff has beaten thousands from around the world to join the top one percent of dancers in the Irish Dance World Championships.
13-year-old Ffion Elson is representing Wales at the competition in North Carolina in the USA. She's hoping to repeat last year's win at the World Championships in Glasgow.
Ffion is the only contestant from Wales taking part in the competition but it is her Irish grandmother who inspires her:
"My Nan's Irish. She came from New Ross and her and her sisters used to dance when they were younger and it's passed through from my Nan to m and my sister."
The competition takes place between 14 - 21 April with competitors from all over the world. Having been dancing since she was 5-years-old, Ffion is hoping to bring home another medal to Wales from the World Championships.
