Man charged with explosives and poisons offences in Carmarthenshire

A 57-year-old man from Carmarthenshire has been charged with offences relating to explosives and poisons.

Russell Wadge, of Baglan Farm in Trimsaran, will appear before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with one offence contrary to the Explosive Substances Act and four offences contrary to the Poisons Act.

A specialist search took place involving Dyfed Powys Police, Wales Extremism and Counter Terrorism Unit and West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit, at an address near Trimsaran after chemicals were found at the premises.

Dyfed Powys Police said there was no risk to neighbouring properties or to the general public.
