Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas has been forced to pull out of the Tour de Suisse after a crash.
Team INEOS confirmed on social media that Thomas will withdraw from the race after the crash during stage four.
Thomas looked visibly shaken after the incident and was attended by medics at the scene. His team confirmed he has now been taken to hospital
It comes weeks before the start of the Tour de France, which begins in July.
Thomas' teammate Chris Froome was injured in a horrific crash which has ruled him out of this year's Tour de France.
