Wales Weather: Hot, humid and very unsettled!

Today: Largely dry to start, with most southern and western areas should remaining largely dry and bright through the day. Thundery showers, moving north, could clip the east of the country, with a few thunderstorms breaking out across north Wales too. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Tonight: Evening showers fading, leaving a drier interlude. This ahead of another area of thundery rain which could affect eastern and northern areas later. Staying warm and muggy overnight. Minimum temperature 13 °C.

Tuesday: Early thundery rain clearing northeastern areas will leave a legacy of low cloud, but this should break up. Sunny spells developing, along with a few heavy showers. Warm and humid. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Dry and mostly sunny. Temperatures will continue to rise, becoming hot in places by Friday, and it will remain on the humid side, despite brisk easterly winds. Warm overnight too.
