A busker in Haverfordwest has been described as 'painful to listen to' by a visitor of the town.

In a letter to the Milford Mercury, a woman from West Bromwich described Peter Jones' singing as 'loud shouting' and said he 'massacred every song'.

The 39-year-old started busking more than ten years ago after becoming unemployed.

I had a lot of depression after losing my business and it was a case of it was a great way of lifting my mood.

He said people in Haverfordwest have been showing their support.

Initially, I read the article and I was pretty gutted. I found it quite scathing - an attack on myself. Then I went back and started to read the comments and there wasn't a single negative comment there.
