A man has admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a car crashed into tents at a campsite, leaving a woman in a critical condition.
Jake Waterhouse, 26, from Manchester, appeared before magistrates in Llandudno where he pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving otherwise in accordance with a driving licence, driving a motor vehicle without insurance and failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis.
He did not indicate a plea to a charge of dangerous driving.
It follows an incident at the Rhyd y Galen campsite in the early hours of Monday, August 19, which left Anna Roselyn Evans in a critical condition and three others injured.
Ms Evans remains in a critical condition in hospital.
No application for bail was made and Waterhouse will appear before Caernarfon Crown Court on September 23.
