A man has been charged with murder following the death of Sarah Hassall.
South Wales Police said 37 year-old Brian Manship, of Pontypridd, who was being held in custody, has been charged with her murder.
He will appear before Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Sarah's body was found at Llys Graid Y Wion when police were called to the house after reports of an incident.
Her family have paid tribute to the mother-of-two from Essex who had "dedicated herself to 14 years of military service" before the birth of her children.
Specially trained family liaison officers continue to provide to support to Sarah’s family at this difficult time.
