A double decker bus crashed into a ditch near Rhuddlan, Denbighshire today.

At around 11.30am this morning, the Arriva Buses Wales vehicle crashed on Ffordd Abergele - known as the Abergele Straights.

The bus was pictured resting in a hedge at a 45 degree angle off the road.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 11.30am after a bus went off the road and ended up in a bush. Traffic has been moving as the bus is completely off the road."

Recovery arrived at the scene shortly after the accident at 11.48am.

No passengers were on board the bus at the time, just the driver. No one was hurt in the accident.

There is a road closure between Rhuddlan Roundabout and the St Asaph Avenue Roundabout.
