Bangor man in hospital with 'lacerations to his face' after suspected knife attack

A man from Bangor is in hospital with "lacerations to his face" after a suspected knife attack in Llandudno.

North Wales Police were called to McDonalds at 8.20pm on Thursday following a report that a man had been injured.

The 39-year-old had walked there from the Conway Rd direction to get help.

Officers believe an incident involving a knife took place in the car park of The Links Hotel on Conway Rd.

An incident, involving the use of a knife, is believed to have happened in the car park of the Links Hotel on Conwy Road, whereby the male has received lacerations to his face.

An investigation is taking place and detectives are with the man and are also speaking with witnesses.

Two people are suspected to have been involved in the assault and enquiries are currently centred on tracing them.

The 39-year-old man is being treated in hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
