Welsh Conservative MS Andrew RT Davies has told ITV's Good Morning Britain he believes Dominic Cummings should "apologise for the actions he undertook."

The Prime Minister's aide has previously defended a 260-mile trip from London to the north-east of England he made with his family during lockdown, explaining that he believes he behaved "reasonably".

I personally would have liked to have seen him apologise for his actions, but it is a fact that when this has been looked into by the authorities that he has not broken the rules, that's a fact.

An investigation by Durham Police concluded that Dominic Cummings might have committed a "minor breach" of lockdown rules when he made a journey to Barnard Castle.

The police force also said it "does not consider" an offence was committed by making the 260-mile trip to stay close to his parents in Durham.

He took a view, and in my decision, he took the wrong view to travel 250 miles - that's my own personal view.
