Tonight:A cloudy start with rain easing for many through the evening. Drier overnight with clear spells and the breeze dropping, but also outbreaks of rain in northern and western parts. Minimum temperature 4°C.

Thursday:Although dry to start it will be a cloudy day with showers across the country and at times longer, heavier outbreaks of rain. Some drier and brighter spells also. Maximum temperature 16°C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:Cloudy Friday with strong winds and rain at times. Heavy showers and a risk of thunder on Saturday with strong winds continuing. Some rain Sunday with winds easing. Remaining cooler.
