Ruth is one of Wales' best known faces, having been on your screens for far longer than she'd like to admit (since 1996)! An award-winning journalist, Ruth began her career as a newsroom reporter and quickly went on to present a whole host of programmes for ITV Wales. A switch to weather came in 2000 and she hasn't looked back since! Alongside her weather duties Ruth is also able to indulge her love of the great outdoors as the presenter of Coast and Country. You’ll also find her across a whole range of local radio networks.. talking to the nation!
Ruth is a proud Ambassador for Cancer Research Wales, and works tirelessly as a fundraiser for the charity which is very close to her heart.
Ruth lives in South Wales and is a super-proud mum to two teenagers and a stubborn Yorkshire Terrier.
Kelsey was born and raised in Port Talbot. After graduating from Aberystwyth University, she then gained a postgraduate diploma at the Cardiff School of Journalism, before joining ITV Cymru Wales as a Production Journalist.
In 2017, Kelsey became part of the weather team and has loved every minute of it. From presenting the forecast live from the roof of the Principality Stadium or jumping into the waters in Cardiff Bay from a floating obstacle course, she loves getting involved and presenting the forecast in all weathers.
Kelsey is also an Ambassador for Carers Trust Wales and attended a special event at St James's Palace in London where she had the opportunity to meet The Princess Royal to talk about the charity's work.
