The skies in parts of Wales lit up last night after lightning strikes and thundery downpours tracked their way across the country.
The Met Office issued a yellow 'be aware' weather warning for thunderstorms across most of the country on Thursday, with the risk of frequent lightning, hail, thunder and heavy downpours.
This video shows the moment lightning strikes over Swansea on Friday night:
The hot and humid weather could spark more thunderstorms on Friday, with another weather warning in place issued by the Met Office.
The yellow weather warning covers north eastern parts of the country and again could bring heavy downpours, lightning and hail.
The warning is in force until 10pm Friday evening and there is a risk that the thunderstorms could cause flooding, tricky driving conditions due to surface water on the roads and power cuts.
Lightning strikes may also cause damage to buildings.
