Woman found on Colwyn Bay railway tracks with 'life-threatening' injuries

Emergency services were called shortly before midnight.

A woman has been taken to hospital after being found with life-threatening injuries on railway tracks at Colwyn Bay.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before midnight on April 3.There were reports of large numbers of police in the area and the Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed it was also called to the scene.

The Welsh Ambulance Service ws called to an incident in Colwyn Bay at 11.40am

A British Transport Police spokesman said: "Officers were called to Colwyn Bay shortly after 11.30pm on April 3 following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics also attended and a woman was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are believed to be life-threatening. The incident is not being treated as suspicious."An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called to an incident in Colwyn Bay at 11.40am. We sent one ambulance and a rapid response vehicle. A casualty was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd."
