Man, 34, dies after being found unconscious on footpath in Swansea

A 34-year-old man who was found unconscious on a footpath in the early hours of the morning has died.

The man, described by police as local to the area, was found on the path between Morriston rugby club and the football club in Morriston, Swansea in the early hours of Saturday, August 17.

He was taken to Morriston Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A police cordon was in place in the area at midday on Saturday and officers are conducting enquiries in the area.

South Wales Police has appealed to the public for any information in relation to the man’s death.

In a statement the force said: “Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Anyone with any information is asked to contact us and quote reference 2400275446.”
