Anglesey Circuit expands

Carwyn Jones is certainly a man interested in power. In fact he fought and won a referendum to get more. And he clearly doesn't think that devolution has gone too far, too fast.

Today, the First Minister went further and faster than possibly ever before. He sped off in a powerful racing car at the Anglesey Circuit.

Participants in the Walk on Wales trek around the Wales Coastal Path have arrived at the Anglesey Circuit, with a special lap held to honour service personnel.

The walk hopes to raise £1m for the Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal and charities tackling combat stress in troops.

Anew pit complex at Anglesey Circuit will officially open today. It cost a million pounds and features 22 garages.

The track is the island's largest visitor attraction. Last year it meant over 10 million pounds for the local economy.
