A motorcyclist has died following a road accident on the A483 Beulah to Garth Road in Builth Wells.

Dyfed Powys police say they crash happened in the early hours of Friday morning

The male rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment but tragically died on Saturday.

Next of kin have been informed.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the police on 101

A man who died in a fatal road crash in Cadoxton near Neath in early hours of Friday morning has been named as Gareth Davies.

The 27-year-old steelworker was from the Aberdulais area of the town.

South Wales Police says he was riding in the direction of Neath town centre when his motorbike crashed into a parked car at around 2am.

In a statement his family said: “He was a devoted son to Andrew and Rhian and a special brother to Lisa and Stephen. He is irreplaceable and will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

“We would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support but ask please that no floral tributes are placed at the collision scene.”

A woman who died after crash in Swansea has been named as Yuan Meng Qu.

Known to her friends as 'Mavis' and her parents as 'Meng Meng' the 21-year-old Chinese national had been studying at the University of Arts in London.

Her father, Ji Bin Qu, said: "She had such a pure heart. Being no longer able to witness her energetic and positive outlook will leave a huge void in the lives of everybody who knew our beloved Meng Meng."

A biker has died after crash in Carmarthenshire, Dyfed Powys Police says.

Two motorbikes - a blue Suzuki GSX and a black Suzuki GSXR - and a maroon Fiat Scudo van were involved in a crash on the B4297 on the approach to the village of Llanedi at 10.10am yesterday morning.

The 48-year-old man who was riding the blue Suzuki was seriously injured and died later at Morriston Hospital, Swansea. The other biker sustained minor injuries, but didn't require medical treatment. The van driver was treated for shock at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dyfed Powys Police on 101 quoting incident 111 of 19th April.

Two men have been seriously injured after the motorbike they were on collided with a pickup truck towing a boat near Cardigan.

The crash happened on the B4548 at Gwbert at around 1.20pm this afternoon.

Mid and West Wales Fire Service said both men suffered serious injuries and one man was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.

A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a lorry on the A487 near Cardigan.Dyfed Powys Police say the crash happened at 1.40pm this afternoon.

The road is currently closed in both directions between Llantood and Felindre Farchog with diversions in place at Egwyswrw and Cardigan roundabout.

Woman injured in Swansea crash dies

A woman who suffered 'life-threatening injuries' in a crash in Swansea last night has since died, police say.

The 21-year-old woman was a passenger in a black Honda Civic, which crashed into parked cars on Langdon Road in the SA1 development at around 10.25pm

She was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, but South Wales Police say she has now died from her injuries.

A police spokesperson said the man who was driving the car, who has been arrested, is 21 not 20 as they earlier stated.

A man has been arrested, after a crash in Swansea left a woman with 'life-threatening injuries.'

The 20-year-old man was driving a black Honda Civic when it collided with parked cars in Langdon Road in the SA1 development at around 10.25pm last night.

South Wales Police say the 21-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car is being treated for 'life-threatening injuries' at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Two other people, who were in another car, are also receiving treatment for injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or who saw a black Honda Civic in Swansea Marina or SA1 areas last night to contact 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

A 27-year-old man was killed this morning after his motorbike crashed into a parked car near Neath.

South Wales Police say he was riding on Cadoxton Terrace, Cadoxton in the direction of Neath town centre when the collision happened at around 2am.
