Winter pressures put huge strain on Welsh NHS
A spike in patients needing NHS services in Wales has but the system under immense strain.
The Royal College of Emergency Medicine has described emergency departments for staff as 'battlefields' where 'patient safety is compromised on a daily basis' leading to 'undignified care'.
The Welsh Government has apologised for the situation but says NHS Wales was better prepared than previous years.
