Police appeal after assault in Carmarthen

It happened between 4:30am and 6am on Sunday, June 1 in Llamas Street.

Two men in their thirties were injured in the attack.

One man was punched leaving a cut on his mouth, the other was struck with glass causing a cut to his head.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the assault to get in touch.


Man in critical condition after serious Carmarthen assault

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a serious assault that has left one man in a critical condition.

The incident occurred in a property in Morgan Street, Carmarthen last night.

Police were called to the address at approximately 11.20pm and a 47 year old male victim was conveyed to Glangwili hospital with serious injuries.

One male has been arrested, and is currently in custody. Police are appealing for any witnesses.

Police appeal after 12-year-old boy assaulted in Cardiff

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was assaulted in the St Mellons area of Cardiff.

The assault happened on the grassy area near Tesco outside the St Mellons Community Centre at around 8pm on Tuesday 10 December.

Two local boys aged 14 and 12 have been arrested and are on bail while officers continue to make enquiries including checking CCTV.

The victim, who has learning difficulties, was punched and kicked causing bruising and swelling to his face.When the assault started on the Tesco field a number of youths ran out of the nearby community centre and gathered in the area.

These young people are potential witnesses and we would ask them or their parents to make contact with South Wales Police.
