Police appeal after death of 26 year-old driver in Porth

South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 02.03hrs on Saturday 30 July 2016 on the A4223 Nant-y-Gwyddon Road in Porth.

The collision involved a red Ford Fiesta and sadly resulted in the death of the 26-year old male driver.

His family have been informed and are being supported by a family liaison officer.

South Wales Police has launched an investigation after two elderly people were involved in a collision with a Toyota RAV 4 this afternoon.

The incident happened at The Philog in Whitchurch, Cardiff at approximately 1.30pm.

The two pedestrians, a man and a woman were taken to the University Hospital of Wales.

Their injuries are unknown.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact South Wales Police Roads Collision Unit on 101.

Police investigating fatal RTC near Neath leisure centre

Police are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred just before 5pm yesterday on a service road off Fford Parc Ynysderw near the Pontardawe Leisure Centre in Neath.

The collision involved a red and white 125cc motorcycle that collided with a metal barrier gate. A 40 year-old local man died at the scene due to injuries received.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision and the riding of the motorcycle in and around Fford Parc Ynysderw, Pontardawe, during the afternoon to come forward.
