An ITV Wales programme on dementia has won a national award. Living with Dementia, shown as part of the ITV1 Wales current affairs series Wales This Week, was voted Best Broadcast Programme (TV and Radio) in the Guild of Health Writers annual awards in London last night.
Produced by Greg Lewis, the programme was selected from a short-list which included three BBC network TV offerings and a Radio 4 programme.
It followed two sufferers as their conditions deteriorated over a year and showed how they were being cared for by their spouses.
